Day 1/2: Arrival/Dushanbe
pass over Khaburabad mountain
Arrival in Dushanbe.
SS tour of Dushanbe: Tajikistan United Museum includes the exhibits on history, natural history and art, Buddha in Nirvana is one of the valuable exhibits of museum; visiting bazaar - an oriental market is the most crowded place in the city; Ismail Samani square.
P.M.: Drive to Hissar Fortress - remains of an XVIII century fortress, occupied until 1924 is located in 30 km west of Dushanbe. Beside the fortress are two plain madrassahs, one dating from the XVIII century and the other XIX, and beyond them is the mausoleum of XVI century. Drive back to Dushanbe. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Dushanbe/Kalaikhumb (370 km, 8 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to Pamir on High Way M41 via Kulyab and Khaburabad pass (height = 3252 m). We can see more conservative attitudes of this region in local dressing style and beards, but the hospitality is just as welcoming. We pass over Khaburabad mountain pass to Kalaikhumb and the scenery and the people change again. The people here are Badakhshanis with their own languages. Kalaikhumb sits on the Panj River, a major tributary of the famous Amu Darya (Oxus) River. Lunch en-route.

Day 4: Kalaikhumb/Khorog
the excellent photos and discovery the life of local people of Pamir. Breakfast at guest house.
After breakfast drive to Khorog (260 km, 6-7 hrs drive). Khorog city – is the capital of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province (GBAO). It is also the capital of the Shughnon district of Gorno-Badakhshan. Khorog is situated 2,200 m above sea level in the Pamir Mountains at the confluence of the Gunt and Panj rivers. The two rivers merge in the eastern part of the city flow through the city.
Lunch en-route.
On the route some stops for shooting the excellent photos and discovery the life of local people of Pamir. That is just here the descendents of Alexander the Great.

Day 5 : Khorog/Ishkoshim (104 + 24 km, 4-5 hrs)
Breakfast at guest house.
Drive to Ishkoshim (100 km) - a small town at the mouth of the Wakhan corridor. On the way visiting Botanical gardens and the famous Mineral Hot Spring-Garm Chashma and Ruby Mines of Khu i Lal (where Badakhshani rubies were mined as early as XIV c.). Continue up the north side of the river with amazing views of the Pamirs to the left and the Hindu Kush to the right; a number of peaks in view are above 6,000 m. Lunch en-route.

Day 6: Ishkoshim/Yamg/Hissor (126 km, 5-6 hrs)

Breakfast at guest house.
Drive to Hissor. On the way visit to one of old fortress in Silk Road - Kah-Kaha in Namadgut, ruins of Yamchun fortress (IV-III B.C.) that once guarded Pamir branch of the Great Silk Road.
In Yamg visit to the museum of Sufi Muborak-kadami Vakhani - local Sufi scholar, theologian, poet and traveler; there is a stone pillar with a hole, which he used to calculate a solar calendar and a local house with inscriptions and decorations made by the scholar.
Lunch in Yamg.
Visit to Buddhist Stupa in Vrang, sacred hot springs of Bibi Fatima Zahra. Arrival in Hissor. Accommodation at guest house. Dinner at guest house.

Day 7: Hissor/Langar/Jilonndy/Khorog
Breakfast at guest house.
Drive to Langar via Khargush Pass (4340 m). Photo stop en-route.
Lunch-picnic on the shore of Yashikul Lake near Bulunkul. Time at leisure or short hiking near the lake. Drive back to Khorog via hot-springs Jilondy.

Day 8: Khorog/Kalaikhumb (240 km, 6-7 hrs)
Breakfast at guest house.
Drive to Kalaikhumb. Lunch en-route. Arrival and accommodation at guest house.
Dinner and overnight at guest house.

Day 9: Kalaikhumb/Dushanbe (280 km, 7-8 hrs)
Breakfast at guest house.
Drive to Dushanbe via Tavildara district - one of the highest areas in central-eastern Tajikistan, surrounded by the Rasht Valley in the north, the Darvaz mountains in the south and the highest Pamir peaks in the east. Lunch en-route.
Arrival and accommodation at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: DushanbeMonument Rudaki Dushanbe
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport for your next destination.
