National Air Company “Uzbekistan Airways” was established on 28 January, 1992. Over this period the aircraft fleet has been gradually modernized. Only for the last three years the fleet has been enlarged by 10 new aircrafts A320 and 4 aircrafts Boing-767-300ER.
6 modern and comfortable domestic air liners IL-114-100 are also successfully operated.
There acquired new equipment for small aircrafts too. "Dream-liners” Boeing-787-8, 2 in number, are expected to be delivered in 2016.
In 2012 “Uzbekistan Airways” became a prize-winner of non-profit Partnership “Flight Safety” for achievements in the field of security, as well as a holder of diploma of Flight Safety Foundation.
In June 2015 the National Air Company won a title "The most punctual Airlines" within a prestigious contest of the Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. The Air Company was also rated as one of the most successful airlines of the world for quality of services provided. This is confirmed by the independent rating agency SkyTrax that audits more than 700 characteristics of services on boards of the aircrafts, as well as in airports worldwide.
“Uzbekistan Airways” operate regular flights to more than 40 cities all over the world, including USA, Europe, Middle East, South-East and Central Asia, CIS.
